If you use Mail on OS X and you like to
archive messages, you might be a little frustrated by the default shortcut,
⌃⌘A. It requires an awkward contortion of your fingers which would really only be comfortable if your ring finger is a couple of inches shorter than the others.
Luckily, there’s a very easy way to change the shortcut. Just go to
System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts, click
App Shortcuts and add a new shortcut using the
Archive in the Menu Title box, and choose a new shortcut.
Mine uses the Hyper key (⌃⌥⇧⌘), but if you don’t use that you could just set it to ⌃A or similar.
